Comics’ By Producs reviews graphic novels and trade paperbacks – books that utilize sequential art to tell a story.
The reasons for Comics’ By Products‘ existance are listed in the first post, but it’s rather simple: I enjoy graphic storytelling, but don’t enjoy most mainstream comic magazines. I also can’t be bothered with reading monthly magazines – I don’t have the patience to pursue a single story over years, nor the time to sort the wheat from the chaff.
Hence, I read almost only comics collected in trade paperbacks, as well as the occasional graphic novel (sequential art published as a complete book). In Comics’ By Products I review the books I like, and ocassionally, those I dislike enough to warn other people of.
